Finished for Friday: Mouse King

This week's finish is an ornament for next Christmas. This was my first experience doing this kind of tiny beading and I can't decide if it's fun or tedious. I guess my mood varied as I worked on it.

This is a good souvenir of the Nutcracker performances my kids have danced in. The Mouse King is always a fun bad guy.

I also managed to put together a facebook fan page this week. Become a fan if you'd like to join the conversation on facebook and receive updates there. You'll find the link in my sidebar.

What have you accomplished this week? Link up and let us cheer you on! Just follow these guidelines please:

  • Link to a post of yours from this past week (doesn't have to be Friday's post)
  • Please visit the other participants and spread some commentary congratulations
  • (optional) grab my Finished for Friday badge from my sidebar
That's all there is to it! I can't wait to see what you've been up to.

I love the beading, but can see how it would be tedious.

Your beaded mouse is so cute. I don't have the patience for beading, but I admire the work that goes into it.

I finally finished something for Friday! AND linked without making a mistake. It's been a good week!

I agree, I love the mouse king as a villain. :-) The beading is so tiny, I can see how it would be both tedious and awesome. Well done!

I love beading! Or, looking at it anyway. That is gorgeous.
Thanks, I think you just introduced me to another craft!
Have an awesome weekend.

Ah, he's cute.

I didn't "finish" anything this week. But I did learn to bake whole grain bread--that was this week's goal. So I guess I did something.

I can pretend, anyway, right?

the mouse is adorable. Will look forward to seeing more.

I really enjoy posting finished projects on my blog. I do this every Tuesday and it gives me a target to work toward. I doubt I wouldn't get as much accomplished if I didn't know there were readers waiting for my next post. Thanks for providing the opportunity to share further.
