Finished for Friday: Easter Sampler


This is a little stitchery sampler I worked on while I was stuck in my hip-torture machine for a few weeks. It's about 14" by 17" and you can get the pattern or kit here.




I also read a few books, including The Lord of the Rings. I read the whole thing every few years. Now I'm reading a book on parenting teens. Scary stuff. I miss those preschool years!

    Why did you mention laundry? I've been trying to avoid it. I love your embroidery. My sister would love your embroidery. I'll send her over here to check it out. I think she might like to make it. I don't like embroidery. It's too slow and my stitches are crappy.

    Lovely sampler...I've been working on too many different thing to get anything DONE...next up is Tillie's First Communion Dress...and one for her American Girl Doll...HAS to be done for May 1st! I work better under pressure..at least I already have the pattern!

    I am working on the Polka Dot Girls BOM embroidery.. they work up fast while watching movies... but it's time to get back to working on my Mom's Memory book for her 100th birthday in June..

    I love that sampler! Too cute!

    I promise I'm not trying to skip out on Fridays when I swore I would try to participate every week, but I broke my foot last weekend! I can't get to the computer room to post on my blog without help because of its strange location in the house. So I can only comment on others' blogs from my cell. :(

    Last Friday I even finished decorating Dude's room (before breaking my foot) and for this Friday I finished the entire Twilight saga, and also learned how to drive with a walking cast on!

    I love it! So fun. I haven't made it through the books yet, I barely made it through the movies...

    I'll bet this was a lot of fun to stitch up.. all the great colors. Love it!
    And yes. Lord of the Rings is one of my favorites. But ever since the movie.. I confess I have not read the series more than twice through. And the problem with that is.. you totally miss out on the Tom Bombadil part.
