The binding around the hexagon points was a learning experience, if you know what I mean. I know how to do it now, but I've also cured myself of any desire to do another hexagon quilt in the near future.

ReplyDeleteThat quilt is absolutely stunning. The soft colors just make it perfect. LOL, you are braver than me, I'd never try an hexagon shaped quilt...what am I saying, I'd never try a quilt. I have always envied folks talented enough to make quilts, my patients is too short. I tried one time but couldn't get the pieces to fit right.

ReplyDeleteI am working on a hexagon quilt myself (not with this pattern, though), but fully expect it to take me YEARS to finish it. I will have to send it to you so you can bind it for me. LOL!
I did a scalloped border once and swore I would never do another one... until I forget. (Kinda like childbirth that way. But only kinda.)
I finished cleaning my house.
