Her book has some real eye candy in it. She uses photographs as inspiration for the color choices in quilts, and teaches the reader step by step how to audition fabrics and fine-tune decisions until the colors really pop. I love this book. Thanks Pat! I have some photos in mind that will lend themselves to this technique.

ReplyDeleteForgot to say, I will make a little video of how I do the freehand Baptist Fans, I made up my own method because I hate pantos.It might take a week or two I have a few client quilts to do & I doubt I will use BF on any of them. Next week I hope to quilt some of my own tops. It is such a handy design.
