Finished for Friday: Tiny little deer.

Here is the reindeer ornament on linen I was working on a few weeks ago.  I need to flatten his little pillow out a bit.

I always have such grand plans that I'm going to finish an ornament a month and have a dozen to give away as Christmas gifts.  I think this is only my first or second this year.  Too many other distractions!

What have you been up to this week?  Link up and let me ooh and ahh.  You can find the code for this button on my sidebar.

Cute little deer! I love his antlers.

And Ha! Finished for Friday. I am sitting amoungst a wreckage of unfinished stuff this week. Hopefully that'll mean I'll have something finished by next Friday. LOL

He is a cutey. Love the fancy adorned antlers.

I had planned to knit several stockings, but haven't started even one. I did get two finished last year. Need to stitch at least 2 this year, though 4 would be better.

Prehaps we should make this a plan and encourage each other.

I love it! I would love to take this up as a hobby... can you recommend any good resources for a beginner? Thanks!

I'll email you too Pati, but in case others are looking for help, I recommend the DMC website for tutorials and lots of free patterns.

Cross stitch is very simple, and there are thousands of free patterns on the web. Just google.

Cutie pa-too-tie reindeer. I have an Aunt that did ornaments with a reindeer to represent each family member and their names--YIKES!

I am thinking something a little more low key than that would be fun!! Thanks for reiterating that in this ornament of yours:)
