This week I finished my hexagon quilt that I started quite a while ago. It's very pale colors so I hope this photo gives you an idea of what it looks like.
The binding around the hexagon points was a learning experience, if you know what I mean. I know how to do it now, but I've also cured myself of any desire to do another hexagon quilt in the near future.

How beautiful it turned out. I love the soft colors. So shabby chic and soft looking.
The quilt is beautiful. I read your profile I currently have 3 under 2 until March. My older son will be 2 and the twins will be 13 1/2 months. They are 10 1/2 months apart. Life is crazy. My blog is thiscrazylife-amy.blogspot.com
The quilt is really beautiful, but I can obviously understand how labor-intensive that must have been. What an accomplishment!
I love the soft colors. It would look lovely in my 2nd guest room. =)
Gasping in awe here on the snow-destined East Coast. Beautiful and most assuredly warm.
Love it.
oh it is very beautiful and your colours are so soft and pretty! But that binding. Oy! It has so terrified me for many years, I cannot even imagine having the courage or patience :-)
I've changed my mind. Instead of the Halloween quilt, which I truly love, I want this one. It's gorgeous. And go you for that amazing binding!
That quilt is gorgeous!!

Your hard work really paid off. It's stunning, and your fabric selections are great. I understand what you mean about not doing another. Sometimes the first experience is enough!!
Your hexagon quilt is gorgeous!! I love the soft colours.
That quilt is absolutely stunning. The soft colors just make it perfect. LOL, you are braver than me, I'd never try an hexagon shaped quilt...what am I saying, I'd never try a quilt. I have always envied folks talented enough to make quilts, my patients is too short. I tried one time but couldn't get the pieces to fit right.
Thanks for stopping by my blog

Wow! The quilt is beautiful... and quilting is really hard so great job!
Oh, this is just gorgeous! I want it!!! I love the colors and the layout and, well, just the whole thing. I LOVE it.
I am working on a hexagon quilt myself (not with this pattern, though), but fully expect it to take me YEARS to finish it. I will have to send it to you so you can bind it for me. LOL!
I did a scalloped border once and swore I would never do another one... until I forget. (Kinda like childbirth that way. But only kinda.)
I finished cleaning my house.
Sure, it's not a quilt, but I do have some small sense of satisfaction.
That is sooo pretty! I love it.
I'm immersed in my mosaic project not finished. Hopefully before the class ends or I'm in trouble!
