Finished for Friday: Baltimore Christmas 1

This is the first block I've completed in a quilt called "Baltimore Christmas." It's worked in wool applique and it was a bit of a challenge.  It's not perfect, and I have some ideas now about how I'll approach the future blocks in the series.  I'm already 3 blocks behind - this one will keep me busy.

Wow!! So much detail! I'm way impressed. And that's just one square? Very excited to see the rest. :)

Thanks for hosting and aloha!

Your block is lovely. I haven't tried the wool felt applique yet. One of these days when I finished my other projects....

Gorgeous block! I really like the way it looks with the wool...a much softer look than with cottons.

Baltimore style blocks are full of little details and take time to do but the result is fantastic! Can't wait to see more blocks.

Your Baltimore Christmas is going to be beautiful! It's okay to be behind as long as you love what you're stitching!

I converted the office to voip and got rid of a 4000 foot warehouse. Do I get points?

I'm working on the same quilt this year. I started with the angel block but I'm not finished yet. I'd better get a move on if I'm going to complete it within the month.

It works well done in wool. I am not familiar with this pattern.
